Note: This is not a game but a gaming Creepypasta review.
A new edition of Horror Gaming is up as this time I will be checking out the Zelda 3 Prototype Creepypasta. During the 90s, years after A Link to the Past's release in 1992, there was a rumor of Nintendo having a NES beta of Zelda 3. Its been assumed according to this rumor that Nintendo could've been testing an early concept for their next Zelda game. However, many have always thought the reason this got scrapped is because of the Super NES and how its ideas got moved to ALTTP in 1989. Unfortunately, despite how awesome that actual sounds that Zelda 3 might have saw some development, this is in fact false. Meaning, there was never a NES beta of Zelda 3 as in 2005 this rumor got debunked by the Hylia.com. In the article, they explain that a man claimed he had the original beta for sale and tried to pass it off as the truth. The man even made a mock up image of Zelda 3 in a red font that he loaded to an NES cartridge so he could display it on an old CRT TV. As it turned out, the Hylia showed evidence that the concept was no more then a thought written on a scrap of paper. In fact, you can still find the article which I will link in the review and even forum posts on various message boards from 2005 could be found. Honestly, its a shame the rumor wasn't true especially when the story gives us a good idea what Zelda 3 could've been like on the NES. I remember a while ago when I was searching for information on this topic is when I discovered a message board of someone showing off Zelda II in a overhead style. It just makes you wonder what if Nintendo actually made Zelda II in that manner. Interesting enough the style does in fact look brilliant using the graphics from that game. As for the story, it is about a man shopping for broken Zelda NES cartridges so he could make them into a harmonica for his friend. That's when he goes to one of those second hand shops in his area and discovers that the store owner had a copy of the rumored beta. So will this end up being a unique rare find or something the man should have declined in buying? Come in and find out... Zelda 3 Prototype Review

A new edition of Alicorn Reviews is up as we take a look at final episode of the three specials from last year. These specials definitely helped EQG as the movie format felt limited compared to its pony counterpart. Before these specials, the movie format never expanded on the world at a normal pace like it's seen in FIM. I always mentioned this in my earlier reviews and its the reason why so many characters are properly built up in FIM. I don't see them changing this format next year either since Hasbro sees no value in a 13 episode season but would rather use 2-3 minute shorts. My biggest gripe from this is how the Dazzlings get shafted so often which will be a recurring thing throughout 2018. It weren't surprise me if Hasbro would rather do FlashLight (Pony TwilightxFlash) once again then to ever focus on the best characters of Gen 4.
Mirror Magic continues the arc with Juniper as she got reduced to a movie theater janitor for her actions. She attempted to steal the props to frame Chestnut but would only get caught by the HuMane Seven. She finds a mirror with one of the orbs going into it and now she's mesmerized by its magic. The special was the most anticipated one of the three from the Bronies because of Starlight Glimmer making her appearance in EQG. I remember how this came out of left field when it was announced as we assumed this was the human counterpart. Once it got revealed by the episode's preview that this was in fact the FIM Starlight, it immediately became an interesting and controversial topic. It's yet again another example that EQG (despite what the haters want to believe) is canon to FIM. Seriously, how many facts do they need to drop their stuck up notion that EQG is truly considered canon. I don't know what to tell you haters as by now we have four cases that only prove this.
